CINCO DE MAYO....

Today is my daughter's "blank blank" birthday (wouldn't want to give away my age here...lol)...the whole family will be heading out to Stage West, a live dinner theatre.....I made her a card using the pop n cuts die which turned out pretty cute....the photos might be a bit fuzzy as I took them with my phone cause I forgot to take a pic when I made it....can you guess where she is headed in a couple of days to celebrate her birthday?....I've blocked out the sentiments (too syrupy....lol)....hope she likes it....

 

 

 

MY OTHER LITTLE ANGELS......

The twins turned 3 a month ago.....cannot believe how the time has just flown by....perhaps I should start scrapping their graduation minis!......do you think I have enough time......lol....they are a treasure and I am fortunate to be able to spend two to three days a week caring for them.....this September they will start pre-school at Little Acorns here in Chestermere so will be doing a bit of overnighting at grandmas....fun times ahead....

An absolute little doll!....loves being a "girl", playing house, baking grandma some special treats, singing and dancing....my fingers are crossed that she will enjoy scrapping with grandma as well....ooooohhhh I have so much to teach her!.....

My handsome dude!....typical boy....loves to take things apart mostly...longing for the day when he will start putting them back together!.....loves learning!....spends a lot of time on his "computer" playing with his numbers and alphabet....always singing songs and moving and grooving to music....perhaps we have a performer in the family!...

MY LITTLE BALL OF FLUFF!.....

Jazz had her first visit to the salon yesterday and she came out amazing!....although I really didn't recognize her...can actually see her beautiful eyes!....she did originally have a bow on either side but managed to get one off......The Groom Room (Calgary) did a fantastic job and she loved every minute of it....well maybe except for the ear hair pulling....Yikes....wouldn't like that myself!....

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY......

Wow the time is just flying by between posts, but at least I have been productive.....in between caring for twins and of course, training the new puppy....she had her first puppy class last night and it was great fun!...quick pic of Jazz now 3 months old....little hard to see her eyes, or her for that matter, as she seems to blend in with the sofa!...

Now on to some of my recent projects....I have a very talented scrapping artist in my vicinity with  whom I have taken several classes......she loves the use of hidden pullouts, fussy cutting, pockets, tags, stamping, embossing, distressing (just to name a few) so every class is filled with wonderful techniques and tips....the classes are comprised of a small group (allowing for better one-on-one instruction) and they are a fun bunch of ladies.....although the classes are supposed to run for 4 hours, we usually go well over (we tend to be a bit chatty....lol) but we all have a great time....this mini album was created  with the mama razzi 2 collection...love the colors!

PERPETULAR CALENDAR.....

OMG!....finally finished this perpetual calendar board which measures approx. 11x22....the design is courtesy of Kathy (paperphenomenon) with just a few tweeks....it is very chipboard cutting, edge distressing; fussy cutting intensive!....not only are there 12 different monthly heading tiles (which are attached using magnets) and 31 date tiles, but for each month there are an additional 11 to 14 picture tiles depending on the no. of days in the month, so that there will always be a total of 42 tiles on the board (a total of 170 tiles measuring 2x1-1/2")...then there are also 6 decorative tile strips dividing the weeks for each of the 12 months which are also attached using magnets...instead of printing out the numbers for the days in the month, I used die cut chipboard numbers to give the tiles a bit more dimension.....WHEW....went through a couple of cutting blades and three foam distress pads....BUT I love it!....think it turned out quite nicely....I still have to finish up the storage area on the back which holds all of the various monthly tiles.....

Simply adorable........in just one month one of these little cutie patooties is going to be mine....can hardly wait!......got my eye on the little chocolate lady in front....mama Teager loves her babies.....
